Xbox 360 - Gears of War Epic Games GEARS OF WAR for the Xbox 360 certainly lives up to the company's name. Presenting an epic battle on another world, GEARS OF WAR runs on the Unreal Engine 3, the game engine designed for the UNREAL series of third-person shooter games, 62nd engineer battalion and like all Xbox 360 titles, the game is visually stunning. Players take on the role of soldier Marcus Fenix, who is stationed on the planet Sera along with his friend Dominic.
